Relax and unwind at one of our idyllic cottages at the edge of the peaceful and serene Joe’s Pond - a magnificent, mile-long lake in West Danville, Vt. Enjoy the crisp morning air on the expansive deck with a cup of coffee and wake up to the gentle sounds of nature as you watch in wonder as a loon floats by. Spend the day enjoying your time together swimming, fishing, hiking, boating, barbecuing, or just curling up in a cozy chair reading that book you’ve been dying to devour. At the end of the day, feel any remaining stress dissolve away as you soak in the glory of a pristine sunset painted in oranges and purples until all that remains in the moonlight is the far away calls of the loons settling down for a peaceful night of sleep.

If local culture is what you’re looking for, travel a mile down the road to visit Hasting’s General Store in West Danville. Here you will find all of your grocery needs, including fresh-cut meats, snacks, homemade baked goods, as well as Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. There is also a lovely gift barn, and the friendly owners are always happy to provide directions or info! You can also enjoy antique and craft shops, old-fashioned general stores, local artisans, sightseeing, or a trip to the Vermont Teddy Bear factory or Ben & Jerry’s factory.
